Our goal is to equip all children with the skills and confidence they need to succeed both in school and beyond, preparing them for life with resilience and independence. SEND provision is a shared responsibility across our school, and we encourage open communication between parents, teachers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Mrs Neighbour is Croxby Primary School’s SENDCO, supported by Miss Trulson, our Assistant SENDCO, working together to coordinate our inclusive practices and ensure every child receives the support they deserve.

Our Sensory Room

We are proud to offer a dedicated sensory room, designed to provide a calming, therapeutic environment for pupils who may benefit from sensory regulation and emotional support. This space helps children to develop self-regulation strategies, improve focus, and feel safe and grounded, particularly during times of heightened anxiety or sensory overload. The sensory room is an important part of our whole-school commitment to nurturing well-being and enabling all pupils to engage positively in their learning.

We are delighted to have achieved the Healthy Minds Award for mental health and well-being. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting children’s emotional development, resilience, and overall mental health.
