We are a happy, caring school and aim to provide challenging and exciting learning opportunities for all. Our expectations are high and we want children to leave us with a thirst for knowledge, a love of learning and as responsible citizens who can make a full contribution to society as confident and independent individuals.

Over the Spring term, we will be passing more information out through the School Gateway APP. This will enable the school to pass information on quickly and cost effectively.

The School Gateway APP will allow the school to:

  • Send all text messages
  • Send emails directly to your inbox
  • Book breakfast and afterschool club places
  • Pay for dinners and other payments

Under the Statutory Information tab, we have added the School Development Priorities for 2017/18. The priorities are the areas the school has been working on since the OFSTED inspection.

Currently attendance is 96.2%, a good effort by everyone.

The Consortium Academy Trust

Based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, The Consortium Academy Trust was formed in September 2017 by the coming together of Cottingham High School and Sixth Form College, The Hessle Academy and Wolfreton School and Sixth Form College.

The three founding schools have a successful history of partnership working, having operated Consortium Sixth Form arrangements for over 25 years.

The Consortium Academy Trust looks forward to providing high quality support and governance to other local schools, both as a sponsor and for schools looking to convert to academy status wishing to join us.
